4 Ways to Add Organization to Your Personal Brand

Personal branding is a decade-long story. So by now, you’ve probably given thought to how you package yourself for consumption by others. But have considered how to tweak your personal brand to reflect better organization, focus & productivity?
Following are four ways to do just that:
1. Slow down. Instead of responding in a nano-second to every message that hits your email inbox…batch process your email & respond more thoughtfully. And replace saying yes to every request that comes to you, with the habit of asking thoughtful questions to slow down and improve the intake process.
2. Leave on time. If your personal brand equates to the person who always stays late to get things done, work a long-term campaign to change the branding to someone who is careful to accept new responsibilities, who doesn’t waste time, and who has a terrific harmony of life & work.
3. Clear the clutter. The physical appearance of your office is often linked strongly with your brand. Keeping clutter to a minimum helps to portray an effective professional who is focused & organized.
4. Go Topless. Do you want to really push your brand? Introduce topless meetings…that is laptop less and phone less. Also try creating the reputation for starting on time, stopping on time, and staying on topic.
What techniques do you find helpful in enhancing your personal brand with an element of streamlined personal productivity?
