A foundational piece of our knowledge base comes from the learning of the GO System--a nationally conducted seminar developed by DME Training. Decades of research on the topics of improving focus, organization and productivity led to the traditional material on getting organized, but quickly moved to psychology, physiology, sociology, neurology, mythology, religion, quantum physics and other areas of knowledge typically not thought of as having to do with organizing skills. Many of the ideas presented in the GO System were discovered in these seemingly unrelated areas. |
The research for the GO System focuses on several questions:
- How can people get organized?
- How can people who get organized, stay organized?
- Why don't unorganized people, who say they desperately want to get organized, do the simple things that will help them accomplish their goals?
- And the larger but related question…Why don't people do the things they say they want to do (and often strongly advise others to do)?
The GO System addresses each of these questions through clearly presented and simple ideas. However, "under the hood" of the course, there are many solid ideas grounded in years of research from a variety of areas.
Consider these questions:
What do
es the brain have to do with getting and staying organized?
What does the kitchen have to do with getting and staying organized?
What do science and mathematics have to do with getting and staying organized?
What does psychology have to do with getting and staying organized?
What does mythology have to do with getting and staying organized?
Productivity training can help people conquer their organizing problems once and for all.
